The Wordly Life – An Illusion

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

وَمَا ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَآ إِلَّا مَتَـٰعُ ٱلْغُرُورِ

And this worldly life is nothing but an asset of illusion.
Quran 3:185

The house of deception is this dunya. Things are not what they seem. Day by day, that illusion is becoming clear for what this world really is. But how sad that our hearts are so darkened that even when the curtains are pulled away, we are still blinded to realise the reality in front of us.

If we learn anything from what is happening all around us, it should be the importance of holding firm onto our Deen. Holding firm onto islam. Holding firm onto the quran and sunnah. Because nothing is as it seems, only that which coincides with the quran and sunnah are reality.

The illusion is everywhere today. Not because the Qur’an has changed, not because Islam has changed, but because we are changing deen. Our very actions in the name of Islam are compromised and shrouded in sin.

The biggest illusion and deception today is that even when we think we are acting on Islam, we are sinning. Shaitan knows he can’t make us become Christian. He knows he can’t make us Jews. Instead, his only play is to change the reality of islam.

Look all around us, my dear respected brothers and sisters. Look all over the world, and we will see Islam changing. We can see what is happening in Palestine. We cry out and find it strange that so many people could accept the oppression as justice. Yet within our Deen it is the same situation.

While people are attacking the teachings of Nabi ﷺ, modernists and deviant scholars alike are making changes in islam. How many of us are rejecting it? How many of us are speaking out against it? In fact, we shun and speak out against those who speak out against it. Just like those people who are speaking out against the people who speak out for Palestine, similarly, so many Muslims are just like those pro Israel supporters. Instead, they speak out against those people who speak out against deviant preachers.

Just like the pro Israeli supporters see nothing wrong with what Israel is doing, similarly, so many Muslims see nothing wrong with people changing the teachings of Islam. They take it a step further, and they forward, share, praise, and defend the words of modernists and deviants, just as pro Israelis forward share and praise the words usa and Israel.

This deviation is more dangerous then the oppression being faced by Palestinians. Because we can clearly see the Torpoint and betrayal they are facing, but we cannot recognise the betrayal we are facing by misguiding scholars. We may never realise it till the day of qiyamah, when it will be too late.

When we see so many of our actions we did in the name of islam, registered as sin, that’s when we will realise.

Were people warning you about the haraam carrion chicken? Yes! why did you still eat it?

Did people warn you about the free mixing events? Yes! So why did you attend?

Did people warn you about the dangers of sin in modern-day protests? Yes! So why did you go?

Did people warn you about the interfaith scholars? Yes! So why did you still follow those scholars?

Was the Qur’an and Sunnah in front of you? Yes! So why did you deviate from it and accept Deen to be modernised?

Imagine if we are asked all these questions and all those deeds, all that charity we did in the end is noted down as sin.

Are you ready to gamble your hearafter, by standing side by side with those people who are ready to compromise their deen?

Are you ready to compromise your food by eating from those organisations that are not willing to be transparent and open?

Are you willing to compromise your imaan by following those scholars who want to worship with Jews and Christians?

Are you willing to betray Nabi ﷺ by accepting people to change Islam, while you sit and say nothing? What happened to the love you claimed to have?

May Allah open our eyes before it’s too late. May He guide us, keep us guided, and make us a means of guidance.
